Experience
As a recent graduate from medical school, I have amassed over 10+ years of tutoring students at all levels of academics including middle school, high school, college, and medical school. I have had formal education and training in teaching individuals of all learning styles. I predominantly focus on tutoring the sciences but have also mentored high school students and pre-medical students to gain acceptance into college and medical school, respectively. Furthermore, I have been in charge of running recitation sections for chemistry students during my time at NYU. What I love about tutoring is to distill complex ideas and concepts into understandable details so that my students do not have to rote memorize. Rather I make sure my students understand the fundamentals of a concept so that they retain what they have learned in their long-term memory. Of importance, teaching this way has helped my students tackle school exams or standardized exam questions that rely on a student understanding the fundamentals of a subject in order to excel in their exams. I look forward to helping future students develop mastery of their subjects and excel in their education to ultimately accomplish their academic goals!
