Growing up, I attended school in the West Windsor Plainsboro school district, where I was labeled as a student in need of specialized learning. Because of this, I originally wasn't allowed to take AP-level classes. I worked hard to overcome this, and eventually took and passed my AP tests. Recently, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University in Washington, D.C. As a tutor, I enjoy helping students who are struggling to prepare for AP-level exams, especially AP European History, AP American History, and AP American Government/Comparative Politics exams. I feel that my past struggles have taught me to understand some of the problems that students prepping for exams are facing. I work hard to help my students learn how to break down the material that they are studying into smaller, more manageable tasks so that it's easier to overcome obstacles, and eventually, achieve high test scores. I also tutor students in test prep for the ACT and SAT exams, specifically ACT/SAT writing and reading, ACT English, and SAT verbal. Additionally, I tutor American history, social studies, and politics.In my spare time, I enjoy reading nonfiction books, especially those written on political and historical subjects.
